When big winds and heavy rain are in the forecast, Public Works crews gear up to take care of our community. ​ Following last night’s winds, landscape crews took their chainsaws out early this morning to clear fallen trees from public roads.​ Here are some things we are doing in preparation for rain, mechanics have made sure our vactor trucks (a vehicle with a massive vacuum system, used for cleaning) are ready to handle flooding and crews filled sandbags in case we need to address trouble spots
