In 1 Thessalonians 1:3, Paul writes to the church in Thessalonica: "We remember before our God and Father your work produced by faith, your labor prompted by love, and your endurance inspired by hope in our Lord Jesus Christ." In this passage, Paul expresses gratitude for three things: their faithful work, their loving actions, and their enduring hope. My prayer for you this year is that you, too, will be faithful in your work, loving in your actions, and filled with the hope of Jesus Christ. |
