🦞 An oldie but a goodie! 🌽 Boudin, a staple of Louisiana cuisine, has its origins rooted deeply in the culinary traditions of French-speaking Acadian settlers, who would later come to be known as Cajuns. These settlers migrated from Nova Scotia to Louisiana in the 18th century after the Great Expulsion by the British. Being a frugal people who were adept at living off the land, they developed a tradition of communal boucherie, or hog butchering, to ensure that nothing went to waste. Boudin was
