Feb 20, 2023 · The heavily rumored new Donkey Kong Switch game being developed by Nintendo EDP Tokyo, the developers of Super Mario Odyssey (2023-24?) Anyhow I feel that all of this, even discounting the unconfirmed rumours, indicates a level of momentum and respect given to the Donkey Kong franchise that we haven't seen since the 90s.

Donkey Kong from the original Arcade game might be who we know as Cranky Kong today. His son, Donkey Kong Jr, is the father of the DK we know and love, making DK the grandson of Cranky and Wrinkly.

Yes. I played Returns AFTER TF because I just wanted more donkey kong. Returns is the harder of the 2 I feel. 1 hit death on all minecart levels (unless you are playing the 3DS version and enabled easy mode), absolutely ridonculous 8th world levels. I have a Wii U and a 3DS and have never played Donkey Kong Country on the 3DS, although I do have Tropical Freeze on the Wii U (and love it, BTW).
