Members of the West Virginia National Guard arrived in Washington, D.C. on Tuesday on orders from Gov. Patrick Morrisey to support President Donald Trump's "Making D.C. Safe and Beautiful Task Force."

The Trump Justice Department is investigating whether Washington, DC’s Metropolitan Police Department manipulated crime data, according to two sources.

"Crime is out of control there, and it's clear something must be done to combat it," Reeves said in a statement.
