Did Tracker season 3 really just kill off Russell Shaw?
The return of Tracker had Colter Shaw (Justin Hartley) reeling from his discovery in season 2 that his mother may have arranged for the murder of his father. He was helped by the return of his brother Russell (Jensen Ackles), who had the much-needed distraction of a case. That involved a missing woman named Lisa whose boyfriend turned up dead.
If you figured Tracker was a show about missing hikers and moody scenery, CBS has successfully flipped the script. Fans almost dropped their remotes during Season 3 Episode 2 ("Leverage").
CBS’ Tracker Season 3 has got fans anticipating a possible spin-off centered on Jensen Ackles’ character. Now, showrunner Elwood Reid weighed in on the fake death scene, the ongoing mysteries, and whether Russell Shaw could headline a series of his own.
As faithful Tracker fans know, premiere times for re-runs and new episodes vary, and that’s the case this week, as well! Tracker ‘s Season 3 premiere aired from 8:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. ET last week, but Episode 2 premieres on CBS at 8:30 p.m. ET, so set your alarms accordingly.
