For the first time since the deadly July Fourth flooding in the Texas Hill Country, Kerr County has no flood advisories or rain in the forecast, allowing search crews to continue their work looking for the bodies of 97 missing people.

Jason Allen spoke with a local pastor in Kerrville, Texas, as searchers there continue to look for the missing victims of the July Fourth floods.

Kerrville, Texas resident Greg Adkins is expressing thanks to the numerous volunteers who have come to help following the catastrophic floods in central Texas.

Texas has weathered more than its fair share of nature’s fury, enduring a century of hurricanes, floods, explosions and tornadoes that have left deep scars on communities across the state, according to the National Environmental Satellite Data and Information Service.
