Steve Garcia has made a statement that he is ready for the top competition at featherweight, quickly putting away David Onama in the main event of UFC Vegas

Onama enters on a four-fight win streak and seems to be turning the corner following a slow start to his UFC tenure. Like Garcia, he can throw a power punch but relies more on his grappling and take-down abilities in the octagon.

That’s a whole lot of people asking for the next title shot, with only one of them actually getting it. For his part, Garcia believes the motivation for everybody asking to fight Volkanovski rather than just facing the next person in line is due to a perceived vulnerability in the UFC featherweight champion.
