Friday at San Diego Comic-Con offered fans a rare opportunity to hear from two of the people primarily responsible for major franchises, in the same place, on the same day. And that’s exactly what happened in both the Alien: Earth and Predator: Badlands panels, which both took place in Hall H.

It's been over 20 years since the Xenomorph fought the Yautja in "Alien vs. Predator." Now, it looks like Disney could be setting the stage for a rematch.

The Predator franchise just made one of the boldest moves ever with its new ending for the animated feature Killer of Killers.

Predator: Badlands centers on Dek (Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi), a young-and-hungry Yautja warrior who is the runt of the litter in his clan and has a whole lot to prove. He teams up with an unlikely ally: Thia ( Elle Fanning ), a synthetic made by the Weyland-Yutani company (from the Alien franchise).

At just 26, Tadej Pogacar has turned the Tour de France into his kingdom, claiming his fourth title on Sunday and cementing a reign that recalls the hunger of Eddy Merckx and the iron grip of Lance Armstrong – yet feels entirely his own.

Predator: Killer of Killers ended with a tease of where the franchise could go next, and as it turns out, that’s not the full ending.
