Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored 31 points and the Oklahoma City Thunder roared past the Minnesota Timberwolves in Game 1 of the Western Conference finals.

The Thunder shot a blazing 61.9 percent from the field in the second half, including 61.5 percent from beyond the 3-point line. Meanwhile, the stunned Timberwolves made just 35 percent of their shots in the final 24 minutes, including a woeful 21.7 percent from beyond the arc.

The Oklahoma City Thunder beat the Minnesota Timberwolves 114-88 at home Wednesday night, taking a 1-0 series lead over Minnesota as the fight for a spot in the NBA Finals begins. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the Thunder in scoring with 31 points, adding nine assists and five rebounds.
