Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) called on President Donald Trump to rescind part of his executive order on prioritizing military excellence and readiness concerning transgender members of the military. Fetterman posted a video to his X account where he declared himself “unapologetically pro the LGBTQ community” before asking the Trump administration to reverse the order.

The recent executive order banning trans women from women’s sports up to the Olympic level is the latest in Trump’s string of anti-trans mandates, which also seek to abolish legal gender recognition in favor of outdated definitions of sex and roll back Title IX protections established under Bostock v.
