A Kentucky State Police trooper is recovering after being shot during a traffic stop that preceded Sunday's deadly church shooting in rural Lexington.
The Lexington Police Department is investigating a homicide after a man was found shot to death on Darien Drive Tuesday afternoon. According to police, officers were dispatched around 1:25 p.m. to a home in the 1800 block of Darien Drive for a report of an unresponsive person.
Three people are dead including the suspect and three were injured after a shooting took place near an airport and church in Lexington on Sunday, July 13.
