Could Iowa women’s basketball enter the mix and emerge as a potential transfer portal home for former Wisconsin forward Serah Williams?

The Iowa Hawkeyes women's basketball team set to take part in the 2025 Women's Champions Classic with a field full of powerhouse programs.

Deal is a five-star signee per ESPN and ranked as the No. 18 player nationally, while Houston is rated as a four-star signee and the No. 85 player nationally. The Hawkeyes also signed four-star post Layla Hays who is ranked as the No. 70 player in the country per ESPN in their 2025 class.

The Iowa women’s basketball team will play in the Shark Beauty Women’s Championship Classic on Dec. 20, Horizon Sports & Experiences and Fox Sports announced Wednesday morning.  The Hawkeyes are slated to take on the UConn Huskies at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn,
