The New York Giants 34-25 victory over the Buffalo Bills was marked by a number of positive developments. The first team offense and defense both performed well. Russell Wilson led a methodical 12-play drive that ended in just three points.

It took one half of their preseason debuts for Russell Wilson and Jaxson Dart to provide promising glimpses into the New York Giants' present and future in a 34-25 win over the Buffalo Bills on Saturday.

Wilson has looked uneven through 12 training camp practice. It’s obvious (as if it wasn’t already) that he is a fading veteran. Yet at least for Saturday afternoon — when he started and played one drive in the Giants’ preseason opener at the Bills — Wilson looked steady and competent.
