On Thursday at 2:13 p.m. the National Weather Service issued an updated frost advisory valid for Friday between 2 a.m. and 9 a.m. for Monmouth, Mercer, Salem, Gloucester, Camden, Burlington, Ocean, Cumberland and Atlantic counties.
FREEZE WARNING 1 a.m. until 9 a.m. Friday except for central Cook County and areas surrounding downtown Chicago. Becoming mainly clear, diminishing winds, cold. Winds: Northwest 5-10 mph. Lows range from the middle 20s coldest inland locations to the upper 30s near Lake Michigan.

Freeze and frost warnings to hit over 50M in US, including tri-state area, as temperatures plummet
"Frost and freeze alerts are posted for over 50 million Americans, who could see frosty conditions on Friday morning," said FOX Weather Meteorologist Dylan DeBruyn.
Freeze warnings and frost advisories are anticipated to expire by 10 a.m. Wednesday as temperatures climb after sunrise.
