With Thursday's MLB trade deadline on the horizon, the Texas Rangers are reportedly making a late push to improve their pitching staff.

ANAHEIM, Calif. — It’s not that Chris Young lost belief in the Rangers. Even in a season’s worth of trying moments compressed into three months of frustrating baseball, he stuck to that idea publicly. Even when there was nothing to really believe in, he sought to re-emphasize that belief. But, seeing is still believing.

Despite snapping their six game win streak in a weird back-and-forth 6-4 loss to the Angels on Monday, the Rangers are still winners of 9 of their last 11 games and have closed the AL Wild Card gap to half a game.
