Alabama's 2026 recruiting class landed another significant late-June recruiting boost Saturday when four-star defender Xavier Griffin, ESPN's No. 3 outside linebacker, announced his commitment to the Crimson Tide over Florida State, Ohio State and Texas.

Griffin is now the highest-rated pledge in Alabama's 2026 class and joins Marietta (Georgia) Sprayberry cornerback Jorden Edmonds as the second Top247 five-star prospect in the group.

The Crimson Tide picked up its third 5-Star commitment of the 2026 class on Sunday, landing Gainesville, Georgia native Xavier Griffin.
