Thousands of athletes will descend on the University of Pennsylvania's Franklin Field from April 24-26 to compete in track and field events​ at the 129th annual Penn Relays.

As the rain showered down on the athletes at the 129th Penn Relays​ Saturday, so did the cheers from tens of thousands of fans who braved the conditions at Franklin Field. Ray Strickland reports.
