The Israel Defense Forces announced they have “eliminated” Hakham Muhammad Issa al Issa, a founder of Hamas‘s military wing and a central planner of the terrorist group’s Oct. 7 attack on Israel in 2023.

T he Israeli military has confirmed the killing of senior Hamas commander Hakham Muhammad Issa Al-Issa in an airstrike in Gaza City. Al-Issa, a founding member of both Hamas and its military wing, was reportedly targeted in a joint operation by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and the Israel Security Agency on Friday in the Sabra neighbourhood.

The IDF confirmed the killing of Hamas’s co-founder, Hakham Muhammad Issa Al-Issa, in an Israeli strike over the Gaza City on Friday. Al-Issa was touted as one of the masterminds of the Oct 7 attacks.
