The South Fulton mayor is now allowed back into his office after being removed, last week. It’s the latest development between the city of South Fulton and Mayor Khalid Kamau.

SOUTH FULTON, Ga. — A controversial mayor banned from city hall was given the green light to return. Channel 2′s Tom Jones was at city hall in South Fulton. That’s where he saw the Mayor Kobi in his office. Jones wanted to ask the mayor about being allowed to return, but the mayor didn’t acknowledge him.

Mayor khalid’s (also known as Mayor kobi) access to his office at City Hall has been restored, effective Feb. 18, following consultation with the city attorney.

The South Fulton City Council has voted to allow Mayor Khalid Kamau to have access to his office and City Hall less than a week after taking those privileges away. The city council says the mayor will be allowed to resume his official duties on city premises, but he will not be allowed to use his city-issued vehicle.
