Sergei Bobrovsky came within 1:06 of securing back-to-back shutouts to lead the Panthers to a 6-1 Game 5 victory over the Maple Leafs in Toronto.

After getting back into the series with a couple of wins on home ice, the Florida Panthers look to push the Toronto Maple Leafs to the brink of elimination on the road on Wednesday night.

By the time the Florida Panthers scored their sixth goal midway through the third period on Wednesday night, Scotiabank Arena had become a sea of empty seats. However, fans began the booing and heading for the exits late in the second period when Florida made it 4-0.

The Toronto Maple Leafs need a strong response at home in Wednesday’s Game 5 against the Florida Panthers. Florida battled back into the series with a pair of home wins. Now it’s on Toronto to hold serve at home in the battle of Atlantic Division teams.

Matthew Tkachuk turned his attention to William Nylander, pointing from the bench and shouting, “Guess who I’m going to get,” Tkachuk said. “I’m going to get you.” Asked about the interaction, Nylander remained calm and was playful while addressing Tkachuk's comments.
