Emirates announced this week it had placed a $38 billion order with Boeing. The airline's president, Tim Clark, told CNBC at the Dubai Airshow it was "holding Boeing's feet to the fire" to deliver the 777-9 jets on time. Emirates is Boeing's biggest customer when it comes to wide-body aircraft.
