After originally signing a 10-day hardship contract earlier in June, she has come to terms on an agreement which will keep her in Indiana for the balance of the season.

The Indiana Fever waived DeWanna Bonner on Wednesday, giving the 16-year veteran her unconditional release. Bonner had been away from the team since June 12, missing five games for personal reasons. She averaged 7.1 points and 3.8 rebounds a game for the Fever since coming to the franchise as a free agent in February.

The Fever announced on Wednesday morning that they resigned Aari McDonald after releasing Bonner, who had missed the previous five games for personal reasons. McDonald will have big shoes to fill with the departure of Bonner, the WNBA's third all-time leading scorer.
