Thiros has been serving as the interim Athletic Director since August 2018. “We have chosen the right leader who will take Bengal Athletics to the next level,” Satterlee said.
The move was announced Thursday in a university-issued press release. Thiros replaces Jeff Tingey, who was removed from his post late last week after serving as ISU’s athletic director since 2009.
