The Komets traded forward Josh Groll to the Greensboro Gargoyles on Wednesday, fulfilling a future considerations trade made Tuesday for forward Logan Nelson.

The Komets have acquired veteran forward Logan Nelson in a trade with the Greensboro Gargoyles in exchange for future considerations.

Nelson has a dozen years of pro hockey experience, even skating in 29 games with the Komets during the 2017-18 season.
