Looking to end over a decade of struggle, the New York Jets begin a new era in 2025. Once the new league year officially begins, the Jets will enter free agency and the NFL Draft under new general manager Darren Mougey and head coach Aaron Glenn.

So how will they handle their first big test in free agency? With $51.4 million to spend ( according to Over The Cap) the Jets have the 12th most cap space in the NFL heading into 2025, so they can make some meaningful additions. Here are 10 players we would target if we were running the show.

That year, they went into free agency with journeyman Josh McCown atop the depth chart while holding the sixth pick in the draft. They signed Teddy Bridgewater and made a St. Patrick's Day blockbuster, trading up three spots. They eventually selected Sam Darnold, traded Bridgewater before the season and rolled with Darnold and McCown.

The embattled franchise announced its decision to move on from Aaron Rodgers on Feb. 13, leaving Tyrod Taylor, Jordan Travis and Adrian Martinez as its only quarterbacks.

However, according to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo and Bleacher Report’s Jordan Schultz, the Vikings could also pursue Rodgers as a temporary starter while J.J. McCarthy recovers from a torn meniscus suffered before the 2024 season.
