CHICAGO, Jan 23 (Reuters) - Chicago Mercantile Exchange live and feeder cattle futures shot to new life-of-contract highs on Thursday, as a spate of freezing weather restricted an already-tight cattle supply and consumer demand remained steady, analysts said.
In a now deleted "staging subdomain" page CME reported to have said futures contracts for XRP and SOL will go live on Feb. 10.
Over the same period, Bitcoin was up 0.5% and Ethereum was down 1.5%. The CME currently offers options trading for Bitcoin and Ethereum, and some investors have been hoping that options trading for Solana could help send its token price higher.
