SpaceX rocket launches in California occur at Vandenberg Space Force Base. In Florida, liftoff is from Cape Canaveral.

SpaceX plans to launch May 3 from Southern California. Past launches have been visible from Reno and Northern Nevada.

Update: SpaceX scrubbed the mission but did not provide a reason for the delay, according to a Facebook post from the Vandenberg Space Force Base. The launch is now scheduled for Friday, May 9.
