The daughter of state Rep. John Hoffman issued a statement following a federal indictment against the accused assassin.

Boelter is accused of murdering former House Speaker Melissa Hortman and her husband Mark Hortman, as well as shooting state Senator John Hoffman and his wife, Yvette Hoffman. Sen. Hoffman and Yvette are expected to survive the shootings. Authorities have deemed the June 14 attack as a politically-targeted.

A federal grand jury Tuesday handed down a six-count indictment against Vance Boelter, the man accused of shooting two Minnesota lawmakers and their spouses last month, the U.S. Attorney's Office said.
