The USMNT training camp roster ahead of the 2025 Gold Cup has been announced and Mauricio Pochettinho has left out some big names and called up plenty of new players. Friendlies against Turkey (June 7) and Switzerland (June 10) take place before the USMNT face Trinidad & Tobago,

Mauricio Pochettino names the US men’s national team roster for a pair of June friendlies and the soccer tournament, with several big names excluded.

The roster features five players that are receiving their first USMNT call-ups: defenders Alex Freeman and Quinn Sullivan, midfielder Sebastian Berhalter, and forward Damion Downs. Alex Freeman is the son of former Green Bay Packers legend Antonio Freeman, while Sebastian Berhalter is the son of former USMNT player and head coach Gregg Berhalter.
