The Los Angeles Angels have been racking up wins over these past few weeks as key hitters like Taylor Ward have broken out of their slumps and started generating runs.

During Ward’s slump, the Angels played like one of the worst teams in baseball. They had MLB’s lowest on-base percentage. In 21 dreadful games, the offense scored just 52 runs. In the 17 games since, the Angels have posted 102 runs. The team reached .500 (25-25) again on Friday, after dipping to as many as eight games below.

Los Angeles Angels left fielder Taylor Ward is one of several players on the team producing at the plate recently. The 31-year-old went 3-for-4 with a homer, five RBI, and a walk in their 10-5 win over the Athletics on Thursday, extending his hitting streak to eight games.
