Original Sin continues to unravel the formative years of Dexter Morgan as he learns to navigate his hunger for blood and kill with his adoptive father, Harry.

A kill goes wrong, and Harry grounds Dexter in a new episode of "Dexter: Original Sin" on Sunday, Jan. 5, at 10 p.m. ET on Showtime.

Paramount+ with SHOWTIME then you can actually tune in at midnight ET on Fridays to catch the new episode. However, if you're an old school Showtime cable subscriber, then you can tune in on Sunday nights at 10pm ET/PT.

Dexter: Original Sin reaches the halfway mark of its first season, and the young killer has some cleaning up to do after a botched kill.

Harry Morgan is Dexter’s father, played by James Remar in the original series, and in this series, played by Christian Slater. The actor is a legend, starring in films like “Heathers,” “True Romance,” “Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves” and several TV series (most notably his Golden Globe nominated role in “Mr. Robot”).

James Remar played Harry Morgan in the original Dexter series, but Christian Slater has made the role his own in Original Sin, and it's the first time the audience has seen the action through his eyes, in addition to Dexter's, and that is most definitely a good thing.

US series Dexter has returned for a brand new series – and the recasting of a key character has “stunned” fans. The show, which originally ran from 2006 to 2013, is back for its second reboot following 2021’s Dexter: New Blood.
