A mistrial has been declared in the trial of Carlos Dominguez, the former UC Davis student accused of going on a deadly stabbing spree.On Friday, the Yolo County jury revealed that they unanimously found Dominguez not guilty on first-degree murder.

Carlos Reales Dominguez was found not guilty of two counts of first-degree murder and the trial on the remaining charges was declared a mistrial, with a new trial set for July 24.

A Yolo County judge declared a mistrial Friday in the case against former UC Davis student Carlos Reales Dominguez after jurors acquitted him of one murder charge and failed to reach a verdict on a second in connection with a series of stabbings that rocked the community two years ago.
