For at least the past two years, the Bengals and Visit Cincy have told the NFL they're interested in the sought-after preseason event.

Visit Cincy and the Bengals jointly signed and submitted an expression of interest to the NFL last fall, Visit Cincy President and CEO Julie Calvert told Cincinnati Business Courier. That formal step included an amendment that the team is targeting 2028 or 2029 to host the massive event. It previously included 2027 in its request.
