NASHVILLE, Tenn. – After finishing fifth in Friday night's NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series main event, Corey Day returned to Nashville Superspeedway to drive the No. 17 Hendrickcars.com entry in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. Day earned the 21st starting position for Saturday night's main event. It will be his first start in the division at Nashville.

NASCAR’s 2024 winners at Nashville are Joey Logano (Cup), John Hunter Nemechek (Xfinity) and Christian Eckes (Truck). Logano is the only defending winner on the entry list (Nemechek will race Cup, and Eckes is in the Xfinity race).

The two provisionals will allow the field to be expanded by two entries, but only if needed. It would push the starting grid from 38 to a maximum of 40 teams.
