The annual Lone Star Rally kicked off in Galveston on Thursday with more than 150,000 motorcyclists and a total of over 400,000 visitors expected to attend the four-day event, according to the city of Galveston.

Central Washington (10-1, 9-0 Lone Star), which received the Lone Star’s automatic NCAA Division II playoff berth, began its winning drive with 1:47 left at the CWU 20. The drive included a first down conversion on fourth-and-10 — McGill to Brady for 15 yards — and McGill gained another first down on a fourth-and-3 run.

At the end of the second quarter, Frisco Lone Star leads North Mesquite by a score of 14-0. Trey Wright scored the longest touchdown of the game, a 61-yard run in the first quarter.
