GOP Sen. Rand Paul is accusing the White House of “immaturity” and engaging in “petty vindictiveness” after he and his family were disinvited from the annual White House picnic long held with members of both parties.

President Trump posted on social media to invite Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul to the Congressional Picnic. The post came after Sen. Paul claimed the White House revoked his invitation following disputes over the Republican budget bill.

Ky., a vocal opponent of President Trump’s tariff policy, said that he and his family were "uninvited" to the annual White House picnic. President Trump posted on Truth Social the following day saying that Paul was in fact welcome at the "BIG White House Party" and called the Republican senator the "toughest vote in the history of the U.
