ESPN Senior NFL Insider Adam Schefter reports the Chiefs head to Dallas to take on the Cowboys Thanksgiving Day. The game is set to start at 3:30 p.m. CST airing on KCTV5. This is the second holiday game the Chiefs have released as they play the Broncos at Arrowhead Christmas Day.

The Philadelphia Eagles will start defending their championship at home on Sept. 4 against the division rival Dallas Cowboys.

The selection was revealed on Monday by the NFL, the first in a series of announcements of notable games on each of the league’s broadcasters ahead of the full schedule release on Wednesday night.

The other two Christmas games have not yet been announced, but the Chiefs and Broncos are a big AFC West matchup, and it's likely that the other Christmas games will be NFC games

Denver had an opportunity to earn a victory on the last play of the game, but a 35-yard field goal attempt from Will Lutz was blocked near the line of scrimmage.

This game will be part of a Christmas Day triple-header, and the full NFL schedule will be announced on Wednesday at 7 p.m. CT.
