After struggling to land a commitment from several of the available higher-end four-star and five-star quarterbacks, Dan Lanning and the Oregon Ducks finally found their passer in the 2026 recruiting class.

Dan Lanning picked up a commitment from a blue-chip quarterback, and the newest Oregon pledge has a name that could give Ducks fans pause, particularly when they square off with Oregon State in their annual rivalry clash.

The addition of Beaver gives Oregon 10 commits in its 2026 recruiting class, which moved up five spots to No. 29 overall in the 247Sports rankings and remains No. 2 on a per player basis.
