Police have launched an investigation after chocolate was stolen from the WHSmiths branch in Rickmansworth High Street.

The group said total high street sales dropped 6 in the 21 weeks to January 25, down 3 on a like-for-like basis, while travel shops saw 6 growth.

Both of Watford's WH Smith stores could face closure following the company's surprise announcement that it is looking to sell all of its retail outlets.
