Snoop Dogg is heading back to his church roots for his next album, Altar Call, which will be arriving on April 27. The project will serve as a tribute to Snoop’s late mother.

Snoop Dogg is set to release a gospel album in honor of his late mother. The 53-year-old rapper’s ‘Altar Call’ record will be out on April 27 – the 74th birthday of his mum Beverly Tate.

*Snoop Dogg isn’t slowing down anytime soon. The hip-hop legend surprised fans on May 13 with the announcement of his 21st studio album and an accompanying film, both titled “Iz It a Crime?“.

The new album, titled “Altar Call,” looks to follow a similar format to his previous album, 2018’s “Bible of Love,” which featured songs both with and without Snoop Dogg performing.
