Pat Narduzzi clearly didn’t go to the Herm Edwards School of Coaching. Social media and college football fans ripped the Pittsburgh coach for opting for a conservative strategy that ultimately backfired in Pittsburgh’s 48-46 loss in six overtimes to Toledo on Thursday in the GameAbove Sports Bowl.

The Pittsburgh Panthers had one of the most interesting years of any college football team this season. After starting on an impressive 7-0 run, they went on a six-game losing streak that was capped off with a six-overtime, 48-46 loss to the Toledo Rockets in the GameAbove Sports Bowl on Thursday.

In a thrilling, six-overtime contest, Pitt football fell to the Toledo Rockets 48-46 in the GameAbove Sports Bowl at Ford Field in Detroit, Mich.

Pitt Panthers head coach Pat Narduzzi made a number of controversial decisions prior and during their six-overtime defeat to Toledo in the GameAbove Sports Bowl at Ford Field. Narduzzi gave redshirt freshman/walk-on David Lynch starting quarterback duties against the Rockets.
