Report: Why the New York Jets might be ruled out of a DK Metcalf trade
The New York Jets are making over their offense under new head coach Aaron Glenn but it does not appear that DK Metcalf has interest in being part of it. The Pro Bowl receiver has requested that the Seattle Seahawks trade him this offseason. The Seahawks have already gone and traded quarterback Geno Smith to the Las Vegas Raiders.
DK Metcalf Is Leaving Seattle for Pittsburgh With a New Deal in Tow, AP Sources Say
The Seattle Seahawks are sending two-time Pro Bowler D.K. Metcalf to Pittsburgh for at least a second-round pick, sources with knowledge of the deal told The Associated Press on Sunday night. The sources spoke to the AP on condition of anonymity because the deal was not official.
The New York Jets need to address their edge rusher depth but may be prices out across the board in free agency.
