This weekend’s UFC Fight Night card in Las Vegas has lost a fight, but another upcoming event on November 8 has also gained a new bout as a result.
Miles Johns needed a new opponent after Muin Gafurov pulled out of their UFC Fight Night 264 bout. And as it happens, Daniel Marcos now has had his opponent for that show, Felipe Lima (14-2 MMA, 2-1 UFC), fall off with an injury.
Nickal fought on last year’s Madison Square Garden card at UFC 309 as well as UFC 300, which is arguably the UFC’s biggest event to date. During the UFC Vegas 110 broadcast on Saturday, the promotion rolled out a new bout order for UFC 322 on Nov. 15.
Tom Aspinall vs. Ciryl Gane ended disastrously, but at least the inconclusive ending sets the stage for an immediate rematch. For four-plus minutes, Gane overdelivered against the undisputed champ, but an errant eyepoke brought UFC 321's main event to an unceremonious end.
Haqparast (18-5 MMA, 10-4 UFC) has been in the UFC since 2017, but is currently on the longest winning streak of his promotional tenure. As he enters UFC 321, Haqparast rides a five-fight winning streak that includes victories against John Makdessi, Landon Quinones, Jamie Mullarkey, Jared Gordon, and Esteban Ribovics.
The year 2026 will usher in a new era in the UFC, and perhaps might even be the promotion’s biggest yet! The Paramount deal, and the UFC White House card, and on it? Possibly the greatest matchup in recent fight history.
