No one is believed to have survived a powerful explosion at an explosives plant in Tennessee, officials said Saturday, as crews continue to recover remains from the blast site.

Workers who were inside a Tennessee explosives manufacturing plant at the time of a “devastating blast” on Friday are presumed to be dead, authorities announced on Saturday.

“We do have several people at this time unaccounted for,” Humphreys County Sheriff Chris Davis said at a news conference.
