Google set to purge inactive accounts The company says it will permanently delete millions of Gmail, Drive and Photos accounts that have been inactive for two years.
Passkeys enable you to sign in without typing a password, using your biometric authentication like Face ID or Touch ID, and this passwordless method is now available for Google accounts.
Google also says that the earliest any accounts will be deleted is December 2023, so you won't have to scramble to log in to all of your accounts right away.
