WILSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — A medical helicopter crashed in Wilson County Saturday afternoon, leading to the death of one crew member and the hospitalization of two others, according to officials.
The pilot of a Vanderbilt LifeFlight helicopter that crashed in Wilson County in November was experiencing a medical emergency during flight shortly after takeoff, according to the preliminary report.
It can cut travel times from over an hour to around twenty minutes.
