The New York Giants play host to the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday in a battle of teams missing multiple star players on both sides of the ball.

Mac Jones will be under center for the seventh time for the 49ers when they play at the Giants, as Brock Purdy moves closer to a return. The former New England first-round pick and starter has kept San Francisco in the playoff picture with victories in four of his six starts.

Last week, the 49ers barely managed 10 total plays before halftime against the Houston Texans. On Sunday, however, the team walked into MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J., and rolled over the New York Giants in a dominant 34-24 win to improve San Francisco’s record to 6-3. The Giants dropped to 2-7.

The Giants will see a fan-funded plane protest banner before Sunday’s home game against the 49ers — weather permitting. The banner, with a message aimed at co-owner John Mara, will call for the firings of coach Brian Daboll and general manager Joe Schoen. The message will read: “MR MARA ENOUGH IS ENOUGH CLEAN HOUSE.”
