The treacherous ice on western Lake Erie has cancelled the Lake Erie Walleye Trail’s Bay’s Edge Ice Shootout tournament for Saturday, Feb. 28.

The rising river levels will urge Lake Erie steelhead trout to make spawning runs in the Northeast Ohio rivers and streams.
