TEMPE, Ariz. — Conrad Dobler, one of the NFL’s top offensive linemen and fiercest players in the 1970s, has died. He was 72. The Arizona Cardinals announced Dobler died Monday in Pueblo, Colorado.

“Conrad started as my teammate and ultimately became my brother,” Pro Football Hall of Famer and fellow Cardinals lineman Dan Dierdorf said in a news release from the Concussion Legacy Foundation.
